A few days ago, I was informed of a contest giveaway that Kristy from FashionChampagne holds together with New Look called 7 Days 7 Dresses. It was very interesting and you can join in too by checking out this post of hers. Since I don't own any dresses from them, I find it quite hard to enter the competition but one must give it a try before calling quits, right? So here I am giving a go.
Yumi Apple Print Belted Dress: I find it the perfect dress for Mondays. Being fresh out of school, I still feel like a high school girl. Remember old movies or cartoons, where the students almost always give their teachers apple at the beginning of the class as to symbolize their goody-two-shoes-ness? When I see the style and print of this dress, my mind quickly flew to that idea. Maybe just the dress for valedictorians or those straight A students who almost always knows everything. Paired with red oxfords and satchel backpack, I believe it's the best kind of outfit to start of the week. Give it a bit of a Monday cheer!Influence Black Hearts 2 in 1 Dress: Isn't this just the dress to die for? I seriously would give my heart out for it -- get it? The dress just seriously screams rock and roll. Seeing this dress just reminds me of Emma Stone on Easy A. Even though it's not the same style at all but the rock'n roll I-don't-care-what-you-think-of-me look is just superb. Tuesday isn't as strict as Monday and it's time to kick it up a notch on the rebellion scale. Perfectly matched with this Chelsea ankle boots and black leather shoulder bag. Of course, your hair could use a little boost with these heart hair clips. Off with his head, indeed.
Only Polka Dot Chiffon Tunic Dress: Wednesday is one of the longest days of the week for me. Well, normally anyway. It's the exact length after monday and before weekend. Plus on Wednesday I usually go home later than, say, Monday. It's almost always like, When is the day going to end already? So I need something highly casual and easy to put together. These white lace shoes look very comfortable and breezy, matched with these floral shorts. Everybody knows chiffon is light and breezy. It's the perfect match. Of course, a small sling back wouldn't hurt. But overall, something I can just spread out in.Cream Butterfly Shirred Waist Dress: Don't you just think the butterfly print on this dress highly magical? Yeah, I think so too. Then again, butterfly has been considered a magical animal group. This dress can make any girl look adorable yet mysterious. It's also cream which makes it look both casual and refreshing. Paired with sophisticated pumps/wedges and lace hairband, it's an A+. As oppose to the sophisticated shoes, a yellow/white backpack would create a childish atmosphere around the person wearing it -- which totally fits my personality. Thursdays need to be magical before the exciting Friday comes soaring, don't you think?
Pussycat Brown Zig Zag Chiffon Dress: Friday Fiesta, baby! The kind of outfit you can easily wear to school -- or maybe work, when it works? -- and slip into a party or a barbecue night out afterwards. Maybe if you're a little bit rebellious, you can skip school altogether. Then again, it wouldn't be Friday. Another chiffon, which is just perfect for the last strict day of the week. Let's keep it academic still with these green, refreshing lace ups -- I actually have them. Otherwise, go crazy with a fedora hat and leather fringed shoulder bag. I can smell the ocean already. T. G. I. F!
People Tree Blue Dragonfly Dress: Out of all the outfits of the week, this one's my favourite. It's got all the things I want to wear and maybe don't even have. To start off, I adore the dress ever so much. It has dragonflies on it, I mean come on! That paired with a pair of comfy sandals and a madeline hat is too cute. Then we have the leather satchel messenger bag. This outfit is perfect for flea market shopping, kite flying, windmills blowing, fireflies catching and barbecue grilling dates. I can imagine it already. The collar is adorable and the colour and print work best together. Drooling over it big time!
White Stripe Jersey Maxi Dress: I believe Sundays are the times to relax and let go of all tensions of the week before diving into it all on Monday all over again. It helps that most stores are closed on this day. Since it's closing in on summer, I feel like this dress is the perfect dress to go to beaches, kick some waves and sleep under those beach umbrellas. Maybe you can just lie on a hammock, read a book or sleep or cuddle or just do nothing. The fabric is perfect for any activity. The huge beach straw hat also helps with the shading and the comfy sandals won't stop you from moving if you feel like it. A small purse would help bring small findings you find on the beach. Just relaaaax~
a picture of me wearing a dress I don't own. Have a superb Tuesday, all! Cheerio!
