While everyone else was going out to watch the fireworks or hang out with their friends. my family and I did New Year's Eve a little differently. We followed the Japanese example and cooked our own osechi (new year's meal)! The original recipe is from NHK World but, because some of the ingredients were hard to find, we changed them and cooked our own versions. Yep, that's creativity for you. Also, because we don't have osechi boxes, we used a baking dish, a bowl and a plate. Sorry for the lazy plating. Anyway, today I'm giving you the three-course meal Japanese style in one post. So as not to make this post way too long, I'm giving you the three recipes below. Click the photos and they will lead you to the respective posts. Lass euch schmecken!
