As soon as the holiday rolls around, the first things I did was anything unrelated to campus life. This means blogging, drawing whatever I want and—most importantly—hanging out with my friends. I've been trying a new digital painting technique, sorting out upcoming posts and making plans with friends. So far, though, I've only managed to meet up with my dear friend Cynthia, after weeks of not seeing each other. At first, I was in search for a good planner for 2016, while she wanted to buy some shampoo. It baffles me how hard it is to find adorable yet highly practical planners on this side of the world. I swear, in Germany, they came in abundance. But here—even in December—I find myself scrambling to find even just a decent one. I guess it's due to the fact that very few people still use them, which signifies all sorts of our societal dysfunction. But that's a whole other story. For some reason, though, we ended up eating way too much food instead and left in a food coma. She introduced me to a new hangout place, which was still quite devoid of people. Ah, bliss.

Ever since I received this bunch of hairbows from Oh My Bows, I've been meaning to style them in some way. However, I haven't had much time in the past month to comb my hair, let alone style it in a suitable way for a bow. So, naturally, now I'm taking full advantage. This is the first bow from the package which I'm trying to style. In truth, I think it would've been perfect to be worn with a pink/purple yukata or kimono. But, alas, I have no such thing. So, instead, I settled for this favourite floral dress of mine which I haven't worn since June. My stepmom actually did the hairstyle, after I failed miserably in trying to do it myself. Yaay for being able to have my hair styled in various ways now! Anyways, it's Christmas Eve today, it seems. Wishing all who celebrate a merry, merry Christmas and we'll see each other again soon!
